The Play Cafe is a pop-up play-space for young children and a cafe combined into one! As new parents, we realize how important having this space is. Whether you’re in the 4th trimester, toddlerhood, or somewhere in between. A stay at home parent or a working one. If this is your first rodeo or you're a seasoned parent. Having a community supporting you is so important! We want to foster that community in a fun and safe environment for your children to explore while you relax, connect, and enjoy your cup of coffee. Show up as you are and we will provide the rest!
We’re also actively working behind the scenes on plans for a more permanent space—stay tuned!
In the meantime, you can find us out in the community at other family-friendly events. We’ve put together a list of upcoming gatherings in the area that we think you’ll love. At some of these, you’ll spot The Play Café with a dedicated play area, bringing extra fun and joy for the little ones. Check back often—we’ll keep this page updated as new events are added.
Juneteenth celebration at Cambridge Common
The Play Café is proud to bring the joy to this year’s Juneteenth celebration at Cambridge Common! We’re supporting the event by hosting the Children’s Play Area, where families will find fun, inclusive activities designed especially for kids. From games and crafts to opportunities for creative expression, we’re creating a space where children can play, learn, and celebrate together. It’s an honor to contribute to a day that uplifts community, culture, and liberation—and we can’t wait to see you there!
